Mark Your Calendar April RWR Events – Open Mic, Workshops & Contest Awards
The 4th annual Rockaway Writers Rendezvous is collaborating with more community partners this year to bring presentations that feature outstanding writers and speakers for the last weekend in April 24-26. Just the respite everyone needs – hang out with writers and filmmakers and artists in relaxing Rockaway Beach. The open mic events at the Tie Breaker are always epic. There will be workshops on a variety of writing genres including fiction, memoirs, nonfiction, poetry, music lyrics, filmmaking/documentaries, publishing, and more.

All winning entries will be published in an anthology and authors will be given the opportunity to read their works during the RWR weekend. AND – again this year, RWR will also include an ART CONTEST – for students and for all/any adults. There are multiple categories – fiction, nonfiction, poetry and more. CASH PRIZES FOR THE STUDENTS!!
