A number of programs are being offered by OSU Extension and their partners, Latimer Quilt & Textile Center and Art Accelerated. The programs will be starting October 2 and running for 6 weeks.
These programs are for a variety of ages and interest. Class sizes are limited and pre-registration is required:

• Cloverbud Art Exploration —Wednesdays, October 4, 11, 18 & 25, November 1 & 8
These art sessions are to allow young artists to explore and express themselves creatively.
When: 3:15 to 5:15pm
Where: Art Accelerated Gallery, 1906 Third Street, Tillamook
Ages: K-3rd Grades
Cost: $45
• Art Expression —Mondays, October 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 & November 6, 13
This mixed media workshop is an opportunity for young artists to explore traditional and new techniques and materials as they improve their art skills.
When: 3:30 to 5:00 pm
Where: OSU Extension, Meeting Room 105
Ages: 4th Grade & Up
Cost: $45
• Weaving Workshop – Friday’s October 13, 20, 27, November 3, 10 & 17
Class participants will create a woven project using a variety of wool and a loom. Loom and wool will be provided for each student.
Where: Latimer Quilt & Textile Center, 2015 Wilson River Loop
When: 3:15 to 5:00 pm
Ages: 4th Grade & Up

• Autumn or Halloween Flower Arranging Classes (Youth & Adults) –October 26
This is a basic flower arranging class.
When: 3:30 to 5:00 pm
Where: OSU Extension, Meeting Room 105
Ages: Youth (K-3 must have an adult helper) & Adults

Learn different ways to start planning a painting and complete it. Learn about new mediums and ways to use acrylics to experience the excitement of experimentation and loosening up.
When: Saturday’s, October 7, 14, 21 & 28 and November 4 from 9 am to 11 am
Where: OSU Extension, Meeting Room 105
Cost: $45 plus $25 for supplies
• Express yourself through Writing
Do you have something to say to the world, and want to get your thoughts out to the world? Does the thought of writing your own blog knot up your stomach? This workshop will encourage you to find your own publishing and communication niche so you can share your unique experiences and expressions with the world.
When: Wednesdays October 11, 18, 25, November 1, 8 &15 from 6:30 to 8:00 pm
Where: OSU Extension Office, Room #107
Cost: $45
Transportation from public schools in District 9 can be arranged by parent for drop off at OSU Extension Office at 4506 3rd St; Latimer Quilt & Textile Center at 2105 Wilson River Loop or Art Accelerated at 1906 3rd St all in Tillamook.
Youth not currently enrolled in 4-H pay a one-time enrollment fee for the 2017/2018 4-H Year that begins October 1, 2017 thru September 30, 2018, in addition to the workshop fee ($2 for Cloverbuds; $20 for 4-12 grade). Financial need scholarships are available.
