Oregon Coast Visitors Assoc. Regional Stakeholder Survey; Deadline Oct. 2

Posted on September 9, 2018September 13, 2018 by Editor

EDITOR’S NOTE: The Oregon Coast Visitors Association (OCVA) needs to hear from you about how tourism impacts our communities. The survey results will help build OCVA’s future plans. Let’s hear from you!

The 2018 Regional Stakeholder Survey is here! Make sure your voice is heard and forward this to others with an urgent message to complete before the deadline of Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2018 at 5 p.m.
If you are concerned about economic growth, over-tourism, workforce investments, protecting the environment, building more tourism infrastructure or all of the above – this survey is the place to ensure your feedback is responded to in our plan. Make sure you have about 15 minutes to complete it from start to finish. We know it’s long, but your feedback is absolutely critical to ensure investments made in OCVA’s 2019-2021 Regional Cooperative Tourism Program plan are on target.

The goal of this survey is to obtain direction for the Oregon Coast Visitors Association (OCVA), which serves as your Regional Destination Management Organization. Your feedback will become part of the official record at both the state-wide and coast-region level which guides the allocation of investment resources to shape and manage the visitor economy.
As an example, view the results of the 2017 Oregon Tourism Stakeholder Survey which guided the development of our current 2017-2019 Regional Cooperative Tourism Program plan and all of our active projects listed in our RCTP Dashboard.
Thank you for your time, diligence and care for the Oregon Coast.

Respectfully and Gratefully,
Marcus

The Oregon Coast Visitor’s Association (OCVA) is the official Regional Destination Management Organization (RDMO) and promotional entity for the Oregon Coast, as designated by the Oregon Tourism Commission, DBA Travel Oregon. Our association is comprised of Chambers of Commerce, Visitor Centers/Bureau, resource management entities and 100+ (approx) private tourism businesses along Oregon’s 363 miles of coastline. We advocate on behalf of the coastal tourism industry by facilitating industry alignment, coordinating industry management efforts and by engaging in cooperative promotional activities which achieve maximum, measurable benefits for our coastal economy with minimal negative impacts on its quality of life and natural enviroment.
