Riverbend Players Ready “Take 3!” featuring Three One-Act Plays, Opening March 20th

Posted on March 5, 2020 by Editor

Take 3! Is the newest show offered by the Riverbend Players, opening on March 20th as the NCRD Performing Arts Center in Nehalem. The show presents three one-act plays: “Check, Please, Take 3” by Jonathan Rand; “Time Flies” by David Ives; and “Bye-Bye Brevoort” by Eudora Welty.

“Check Please” is a romantic comedy which asks the question- Which is better- staying single the rest of your life, or suffering through a series of the worst dates in history?
“Time Flies” is another romantic comedy which involves two mayflies learning that they only have 24 hours to live, and the choices they make as a result.
“Bye-Bye Brevoort” is a very silly play about a group of three very mature women who are in denial about their residence building being demolished around them. All of them have an offbeat sensibility that makes for a great night of comedy and variety.
Shows performances are on March 20-21 and March 27-28 at 7 pm, and March 22 and 29 at 2 pm at the NCRD, located at 36155 9th street in Nehalem. Admission is $17 at the door, or $14 through tickettomato.com
