A Hawaiian feast prepared by Chef Dennis at Portside Bistro, with dessert from Brittney Bakes! Entertainment from Mitch Whitaker, and our MC Steve Claus! Readings from the 2025 Anthology and a silent auction with more to be announced!
Dinner & Dessert – Pulled Pork, Hawaiian Mac Salad, Green Salad and Dressing, Rolls, Complimentary Soft Drinks and Coffee and Key Lime Mini Tart with homemade graham cracker crust, toasted meringue, crispy coconut and candied lime zest
Served buffet style until it’s gone! There will be plenty, no one will go home hungry. You’ll need the energy to make those donations and bid on silent auction items.
2025 Rockaway Writers Anthology
We are excited to finally have physical copies of this year’s Anthology. We greatly appreciate your patience. This year was a much larger undertaking, and we had to devote more time than expected in order to get a great result. With a beautiful cover designed by our first-place artist winner, Lydia Hess. We are very proud of this year’s anthology. We are also excited to announce we are partnering with the Tillamook County Library to bring you the Rockaway Writers Rendezvous and subsequent anthologies. With their support, we look forward to growing these events.
Auction
Thank you to Steve Claus, the new director of the Tillamook YMCA for donating his skill and experience to our event! If you attended the YMCA fundraiser, then you know you are in for a treat. We will be featuring a variety of items in the silent auction which will be on display at the event. The auction ends at 8 pm.
Music
If you missed our recent music festival, you owe it to yourself to come check out Mitch Whitaker who had an amazing performance at our event and is coming to grace us with a solo acoustic performance. It’s a great opportunity to see such a skilled songwriter and talented performer in an intimate space.
