Grays River at Covered Bridge near Rosburg affecting Wahkiakum County. …Forecast flooding changed from Minor to Moderate severity and increased in duration for the following rivers in Oregon… Wilson River near Tillamook affecting Tillamook County.
* WHAT…Moderate flooding is forecast.
* WHERE…Nehalem River near Foss.
* WHEN…Until early Friday afternoon.
* IMPACTS…Above 20.0 feet, flooding of some buildings in the town of Nehalem begins, with the situation worsening during the high tide. Also expect widespread low land flooding and numerous flooded rural roads from the Foss gauging station downstream to Nehalem.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS… – At 9:15 AM PST Thursday the stage was 11.4 feet. – Bankfull stage is 13.0 feet. – Forecast…The river will rise above flood stage this afternoon and crest around 21.0 feet late this evening.
