Get ready to roll into an evening of fun, fundraising, and a few spare-of-the-moment laughs! On January 17, Tillamook Junior High’s 8th-grade students will be taking over the Pastega Activity Center and Bowling Alley from 6 pm to 8 pm for a community bowling event.
Games are just $6 per game, with shoe rentals available for $3, making it easy for bowlers of all skill levels—from gutter-ball beginners to strike-throwing pros—to join in the fun. Come knock down some pins, enjoy tasty treats, and cheer on our students as they work to raise funds for an unforgettable educational experience.
All proceeds from the event will support the 8th graders’ upcoming Washington, DC trip in March 2026. This trip is a valuable and exciting opportunity for students to dive into our nation’s history, explore world-class museums, visit iconic landmarks, and even enjoy a scenic river cruise. It’s hands-on learning at its best—and every frame bowled helps make it possible.
Community members, families, and friends are encouraged to come out, lace up those bowling shoes, and help these students strike their fundraising goals. Whether you’re bowling for a high score or just bowling for fun, every frame will make it easier for these eighth graders to enjoy this once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Can’t make it to the bowling alley? You can still help keep this trip rolling! Donations can be made online at https://donate.tillamookchamber.org.Just select “TJHS Student Travel” as the fund you are contributing to.
So mark your calendars, grab a bowling ball, and help us turn this event into a perfect game for our Tillamook Junior High 8th graders!
