Tillamook County Community Health Centers (TCCHC) is pleased to welcome Genoa Healthcare Pharmacy (Genoa) to Tillamook County. TCCHC has partnered with Genoa to offer on-site medication services to our patients and the broader Tillamook community. After a limited opening in January, the pharmacy is now open to service consumers from their location inside Tillamook County Community Health Centers Main Street Clinic at 800 Main Ave, Suite A in Tillamook.
“Ever since access to essential medications was reduced due to the closure of one of the local pharmacies in 2023, we have been working towards a solution for Tillamook County,’ said Marlene Putman, Director of the Tillamook County Health and Human Services Department and Administrator of the Tillamook County Community Health Centers. “We are thrilled to partner with Genoa to increase local access to medications and offer on-site, convenient, and personalized pharmacy services in our community.”
Genoa especially strives to improve the quality of life for individuals living with mental illness, substance use disorder and other complex, chronic health conditions. However, they do fill all medication prescriptions. Consumers do not need to be patients of Tillamook County Community Health Centers to use pharmacy services.
Genoa accepts most insurances including Medicare, Medicaid and private insurance, except Kaiser. Pharmacy staff may help patients with prior authorizations, insurance questions and identifying available discounts. Patients are encouraged to contact the pharmacy at (503) 385-4149 to learn more about the services they offer including transferring prescriptions, medication packaging and delivery options.
Genoa Healthcare Pharmacy is now available to serve the Tillamook community Monday through Friday, from 8:000am – 5:00pm and closed for the lunch hour from Noon until 1:00pm.
