Here is the updated ballot returns from the Tillamook County Clerk’s office for May 8, 2026:

BALLOT RETURNS

Received = total number of ballots cast.

Accepted = total number of ballots without challenges.  A challenged (unaccepted) ballot is one where the signature does not match the Voter record OR a voter did not sign the ballot return envelope.

DATE:    May 8, 2026 12:27 PM
BALLOTS RECEIVED/ACCEPTED:  2,544 Received/2,501 Accepted
% OF TURNOUT:  11.7% Received/ 11.5% Accepted

Here are links to the Pioneer’s Q&A for the candidates. We think it’s important to “get to know the candidates” – and asked some thoughtful, creative questions … compare answers and information. Get out your ballot, make your choices and get that ballot into a a drop box!

If you are going to mail your ballot, be sure to get it HAND-STAMPED at the post office, and mail it on Monday. The best option is to put your ballot into a county ballot box – located here: https://www.tillamookcountypioneer.net/tillamook-county-clerks-office-official-tillamook-county-ballot-deposit-locations-may-19-2026-primary-election/
