Join EVCNB‘s CERT volunteers on Saturday, May 30th from 1:00–4:00 PM at Rex Champ Ballfield (Hwy 101, between Nehalem and Manzanita) for a live Assembly Area demonstration. Walk the scenario. Ask the questions. Meet the neighbors and volunteers who’ll be there when it matters.
No registration. No preparation. Just show up.
When a major disaster strikes — like the Cascadia Subduction Zone earthquake — residents are directed to evacuate to their nearest Assembly Area. But what does that actually look like?
Come find out! On May 30th from 1:00–4:00 PM, your local CERT volunteers are running a community drill at Rex Champ Ballfield so neighbors can experience a real response scenario and know what to expect.
