As our historic season came to an end on Saturday,June 6, 2026, I wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who played a role in this incredible journey.
First and foremost, thank you to our amazing parents. You were truly the support staff behind this team, handling countless responsibilities away from the field so our players and coaches could focus on the game. Your dedication, sacrifice, and unwavering support did not go unnoticed.
Thank you to the businesses and individuals who donated time, money, meals, and resources throughout the season. You helped make this experience about so much more than baseball.
To Coaches Fossbind and Schild, there simply aren’t enough words to describe what you brought to this program. Your commitment, knowledge, and passion helped make this season one for the record books.
To our players, you embodied what can happen when a group commits to a common goal and plays with heart. You feared no opponent and never backed down from a challenge. The grit, determination, and belief you showed all season was remarkable.
And to the Tillamook community, there is no better place in Oregon. Whether we were home or on the road, you packed the stands and made your presence known. Looking into the crowd at Keizer Stadium and seeing the sea of red and black was a moment I’ll never forget. Outside of my own family, it ranks among the most memorable experiences of my life.
While the outcome fell just short of our ultimate goal, you gave these young men an experience they will carry with them forever.
What this team accomplished was truly special. As a #12 seed, these players defeated the #2, #5, and #1 ranked teams before taking #3 all the way to the seventh inning in a one-run state championship game. Not only is that historic for Tillamook Baseball, it may be one of the most impressive playoff runs in Oregon high school baseball history.
Thank you all for believing in these young men and supporting them every step of the way.
