Anne Jean Seeger, age 95, was born March 5, 1931, in Lodi, Wisconsin, to Charles Zeman Sr. and Emma (Benish) Zeman. She was one of twelve children — Anne, Charles, Vern, Bob, Tom, John, Jim, Violet, Betty, Arnold, Russell, and Joe.
On November 10, 1951, she married the love of her life, Kenneth Seeger (deceased). Together they raised seven children: Gloria Ann, Kenneth Paul, Joyce Lynn, Yvonne Louise, Donna Marie, Edward Arthur, and Steven Scott.
For many years, the family owned and operated Thomas Superette on Third Street in Tillamook. Anne was a constant and cheerful volunteer in her community — whether staffing a booth at the Tillamook County Fair for the Catholic Church or lending a hand at Kit & Caboodle, she was always ready to help.
Anne’s legacy lives on through her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren — 57 strong and counting, with two more due to join the family in August and September.
