The Tillamook Police Department is excited to invite community members to join us for National Night Out 2026, an evening dedicated to strengthening relationships between neighbors, law enforcement, and community partners.
The event will be held on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Goodspeed Park, located at the corner of 3rd Street and Delmonte Avenue in Tillamook.
National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign celebrated across the country to promote police-community partnerships, neighborhood camaraderie, and public safety. The event provides an opportunity for residents to meet local first responders and community organizations in a relaxed, family-friendly environment while celebrating what makes
Tillamook such a special place to live.
This year’s event will feature a variety of free activities for all ages, including:
• Free hamburgers and hot dogs
• Live music
• Face painting
• Cornhole
• Dunk tank
• Community booths and displays
• And much more!
“National Night Out is one of our favorite events of the year because it brings our community together outside of emergency situations,” said Chief Nick Troxel. “Building relationships, having conversations, and spending time together helps strengthen trust and creates a safer, more connected community. We encourage everyone to come out, enjoy the evening, and celebrate the partnerships that make Tillamook such a wonderful place to live, work, and visit.”
The Tillamook Police Department extends its sincere appreciation to the many local businesses, volunteers, partner agencies, and community organizations that help make National Night Out possible each year.
This event is free and open to the public. Residents are encouraged to bring their families, invite their neighbors, and enjoy an evening of food, fun, and community spirit.
