ASTROLOGY: New Moon in Gemini, Saturn moving into Aries – Be curious about your instincts – 5.26.25

Posted on May 26, 2025 by Editor

By Madame Dana Zia

A new era is being welcomed in with the New Moon in Gemini on May 26th, 2025. On the exact day of this New Moon, Saturn moves into Aries for the first time in 30 years to join Neptune that’s been floating in there for a few months.
This is ushering in the bold new age of Aries.
And the Gemini New Moon with Mercury conjunct it is helping us to interrogate it.
Let’s talk about Aries first cause that is where all the energy is.

Aries is the sign of passion, the pulse of life and the thrill of being alive. They are courageous, have unerring instinct, and have a great sense of humor. The World is a big toy box filled with too many things to do and too little time so they are generally always in a hurry.
Aries is also the first sign of the Zodiac and puts emphasis on the individual to take personal responsibility for your life. When the big outer planets like Saturn and Neptune enter into it, it is a powerful reboot to our personal and collective. It is a time to start again, to re-ignite our zeal for life and be courageous enough to go for it!
Neptune moved into Aries for the first time in 165 years at the end of March. I immediately felt a collective shift from watery acceptance to fiery “fight back.” Neptune is the planet of intuition, creativity, spirituality and imagination. So with it moving into the spirited sign of self-autonomy, this is a powerful time of visionary action and a renewed focus on the individual’s power to make a difference.

With Saturn moving into Aries, we are going to feel this even stronger as the ringed planet offers structure to rewrite the rulebook on Aries. Saturn doesn’t necessarily enjoy the untamed gallop Aries goes at but usually likes a planned, cautious pace. With Saturn joining Neptune there, it might just get caught up in the energy, at least a little bit. (Holding my fingers a wee inch.)

No matter what, Saturn is a very stabilizing force and will have a strong guiding hand on the bridle the wild horse of Aries. Saturn is also the planet of rules and maturity. It will want to bring sustainability and guidelines to Aries because we are in for a long haul here. Saturn will be in Aries till April, 2028 and Neptune till 2039!

The New Moon in Gemini with Mercury involved, gives us the perfect tools to open our minds to get curious about this massive collective and personal shift we have happening right now in our Cosmos. We are being given a perfect opportunity to restructure our lives with more passion, vitality and courage.

It never ceases to amaze me how the Universe works through astrology. Remember Aries is very instinctual so don’t over think this! Listen to your body and follow its lead.

Look to where Aries is in your chart to where the overhaul is happening.
