Thinking about your tomatoes and peppers? You can place your orders now to guarantee availability. Stop by the farm, located at 4940 Brickyard Rd., Tillamook, and take a look at our list of tomatoes to reserve yours today. Over 20 varieties of slicing, heirloom, beefsteak, sauce and cherry tomatoes. Pre-order them ahead of time and pay for them when you pick them up in May. (Greenhouse growers don’t have to wait, you can take yours home today.) Open Tuesday thru Friday 10am to 5pm. Saturdays 10am to 4pm.
Here’s what you can look forward to at the farm:
•April 11th – Repotting your plants. Learn how to safely repot your house plants or any plant. Supplies provided. More information online. $25/person.
•April 18th – Propagation 101. Learn all about plant propagation and different methods and take home your own propagation. Supplies provided. $50/person.
•April 24th – LADIES NIGHT! Free event! Come with the girlies and get down on the farm with complimentary sipping, snacks, games and special prices just for the ladies. 5pm to 7pm. No registration necessary.
•May 9th – Make your own hanging baskets. Learn how to make a beautiful, colorful and bloom-filled basket to take home and hang and make your neighbors jealous all summer long. Supplies provided. $50/person.
•May 16th – Garden irrigation and watering class hosted by Mike Slay with Slay Industries. Learn how to install a garden watering system from start to finish, with everything in between to save your back and gain some free time. Supplies provided. $25/person.
•May 23rd – Make an herb garden. Learn how to make a cute little herb garden with up to three different herbs of your choice. Take it hone, cook meals all summer with the herbs you grew. Culinary skills not included, but supplies will be provided. $50/person.
•May 23rd – LADIES NIGHT! Free event! Come with the girlies and get down on the farm with complimentary sipping, snacks, games and special prices just for the ladies. 5pm to 7pm. No resigistration necessary.
•June 6th – Tomato 101. Learn how to plant, fertilize, trim and harvest your tomato plant to take home and plant in your garden. Green thumb not included. Supplies provided. $20/person.
•June 19th -LADIES NIGHT! Free event! Come with the girlies and get down on the farm with complimentary sipping, snacks, games and special prices.
