PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the City of Rockaway Beach City Council will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Room of City Hall at 276 S. Hwy 101, Rockaway Beach, Oregon.
The purpose of this public hearing is to consider public testimony on proposed Ordinance No. 2026-01:
ORDINANCE 2026-01:
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CITY OF ROCKAWAY BEACH COMPREHENSIVE PLAN POLICIES RELATING TO THE ECONOMY
This proposed ordinance amends the Rockaway Beach Comprehensive Plan policies 4 and 5 under Policies Relating to the Economy, in order to promote fair business practices, support fair competition, fiscal responsibility, and alignment with statutory guidelines while enabling the City to select partners that best advance its economic development and tourism objectives.
