PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the City of Rockaway Beach City Council will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Room of City Hall at 276 S. Hwy 101, Rockaway Beach, Oregon.
The purpose of this public hearing is to consider public testimony on proposed Ordinance No. 2026-03:
ORDINANCE 2026-03:
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CITY OF ROCKAWAY BEACH CODE OF ORDINANCES CHAPTER 113, SECTIONS 113.03 AND 113.04, RELATED TO SHORT-TERM RENTAL APPLICATION FEES AND STANDARDS
This proposed ordinance amends the Rockaway Beach Short-Term Rental Code in order to clarify that all short-term rental application and license fees are established by Council resolution, to amend the provisions regarding identification signage to include requirements for displaying the City’s complaint hotline phone number, to require posting of the short-term rental license and the City’s regulations prohibiting fireworks, and to require a guest registry and use requirements for license renewal.
