CLOVER’S DAY CELEBRATION CONTINUES HOLIDAY FUN SATURDAY JULY 6th, PARADE, FUN RUN, MILK CHUGGING CONTEST & MORE!

Posted on July 5, 2024 by Editor

Clover’s Day takes to the streets – with it’s claim to fame – the only parade led by a dairy cow – on Saturday July 6th in Cloverdale. Parade starts at 11:00am and features the famous Clover the Cow! The main event runs from 10am-2pm and features open shops, a vendor fair, kid activities and live music. Free parking is available over the bridge on Old Woods Rd.

The day begins with a fun run at 8:30am. The fun run starts at the Cloverdale bridge and consists of a 2 mile walk, 5k, and 8k down Old Woods rd. Donations are encouraged for event participation and support the Nestucca Cross Country and Track Team.

At 10 am, the vendor fair opens up and features a variety of vendors. Come check out local businesses such as Bare Moon Farms, Salty Kettle, Nestucca Volunteer Fire Association, Outlaw Oyster and more. This year brings the largest vendor line up we’ve seen in years!

Bring a chair and sit on Bridge Street to enjoy live music by The Paris Group. Grab something to eat such as hotdogs and rootbeer floats from the Nestucca Lions at the south end of town (outside of Rod and Reel, Wool and Wheel) and at the North end, Senior safe will be selling food and Ice cream outside the Tillamook Feed Store.

Kid activities include a petting zoo located in front of the Tillamook Feed Store, free face painting done by the Nestucca Valley Cheerleaders, and giant bubbles outside of the Nestucca Bay Creamery. Free children’s books are also available courtesy of The South County Celebration of Literacy. These activities run from 10am-2pm.

The parade begins at 11am and runs down Parkway drive, along the northbound lane of Highway 101, and up Campground street. Our grand marshal for the parade is Tom Goodwin.

At 12:30pm there will be a Milk Chugging Relay outside of the Nestucca Bay Creamery cheese shop. We have room for 5 teams of 5 people to participate. Participants must pre register by emailing cloversdaycelebration@gmail.com. Winners will receive cookies and bragging rights.

We are so excited for this years event and want to give a shout out to the businesses that partnered with us and sponsored this years event!
