Here’s a celebration to be thankful for – Garibaldi and Bay City libraries have had aquariums with salmon eggs that had hatched, and then they invite the community to help with salmon fry release day at Al Griffin Park in Bay City. Assisted by Oregon Department of Fish & Wildlife, the salmon fry are transportted to the partk and the children scoop and release. Everyone had a swimmingly good time as the salmon fry wiggle their way to the ocean … enjoy the photos and video.
