One of our most popular and talked-about events of the year is back! 🎉
The 3rd Annual Top Emergency Chef Contest returns on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, and it’s shaping up to be another sold-out crowd favorite.
Join us for a lively, fast-paced evening where local leaders — Tillamook County Commissioner Mary Faith Bell, Sgt. Mike Sims of the Manzanita Police Department, and Wheeler Mayor Denise Donohue — face off to create the best tasting, most nutritious dishes using only shelf-stable emergency foods — no heat, no water.
It’s equal parts fun, friendly competition, and hands-on learning, with judging by beloved local restaurateurs and plenty of laughs along the way. You’ll leave entertained and with new ideas for emergency food preparedness at home.
⚠️ Attendance is limited and this event sells out every year — tickets are already moving, so we encourage you to register soon. Proceeds support emergency Go-Bags for low-income neighbors in our community. Tickets are $10.00 and limited seating.
