In today’s polarized world, the kindness of strangers is a welcome reminder that people are generally good and the humanity that binds us all.
My family was recently on the receiving end of such kindness thanks to Holly and Heather Hurliman of Tillamook.
My wife had just given birth to twins and we were in a haze of stress and sleeplessness after a difficult pregnancy and delivery. Following a chance encounter in the hospital elevator, the Hurliman twins left us the sweetest card with life advice and cute gifts for our twins. We were truly touched and brought to tears by their kindness.
