GORDON’S WEEKLY WEATHER UPDATE 11/10/25: Series of fronts with some rain and breezy conditions, off and on, all week.

Posted on November 10, 2025 by Editor

By Gordon McCraw, Meteorologist for the Tillamook County Pioneer

Well, it looks like we are in for another active weather week Tillamook. Today we had a weak disturbance drop down bringing a weak front through that gave us a little rain. We keep a slight chance of rain through tonight under mostly cloudy skies, the overnight low near 41.

Now tomorrow is Veterans Day so don’t forget to thank your veteran friends for their service to our country. They deserve a Thank You for their time, bravery, and the sacrifices they gave for this country.

Now, from Mother Nature, she offers cloudy skies and calm winds with the afternoon high temperature up near 57 for Veteran Day as a weak ridge of high pressure pays a brief visit, holding off the incoming active pattern that returns in the early morning hours, so we hang on to cloudy skies with calm winds, the overnight low near 45.

Again, the rain returns early Wednesday morning, the winds becoming southerly 5-10, high temperatures near 59, more rain Wednesday night, the winds becoming southwesterly 5-10, lows near 45. Total rainfall for Wednesday likely between ¼” to ¾”.

The cold front bringing in all the rain and cooler temperatures pushes through the area by Thursday morning, and we transition over to showers with possible thunderstorms, and we see breezy southwesterly winds 14-18 gusting to 25 to 30 with gusts to 45 possible down at the beaches, the high near 53. By Thursday night, it looks like a deep trough of low pressure is sitting off the coast and we see the rain returning with the overnight low down near 42.

Friday on through the weekend also looks wet. We see a series of fronts bringing clouds and rain across the area with a cold front cooling things down Friday, then a warm front warming things some Saturday with some gusty winds before another front brings more rain Sunday, afternoon highs bounce between 52 and 57 during the period with lows 42 to 47.

If you are planning on camping in the higher elevations of the Coast Range, know that the early morning temperature, Friday and Saturday will possibly be in the mid 30s, with a slight chance of them being close to freezing.
