A fair, dry, and somewhat mild day today, with a weak ridge of high pressure over the area. We did see some clouds moving across today, associated with an approaching front that brings more clouds and a chance of rain tonight, after around midnight. We continue to see some light winds, the overnight low with all the clouds, near 43.
Tomorrow looks rainy and breezy thanks to that approaching front, and that rain could be occasionally moderate to heavy. The winds becoming southerly 8-12 gusting to near 30 with gusts to 45 possible down at the beaches, the afternoon high up near 55. The rain continues Tuesday night with the winds becoming more westerly 8-12 gusting to 25, the low near 41. Total rainfall for tomorrow in the ½ to 1” range, so no significant rises in local river flow rates are expected.
We see another disturbance moving across Wednesday, so we another round of rain with westerly winds 5-10, the high near 50. More rain likely Wednesday night that eases after around midnight, the low dipping to near 36.
Conditions continue to improve Thursday morning, becoming sunny by the afternoon as weak high pressure returns, the afternoon high near 54. With clear skies that night the low dips to near 37.
After that we see a nice start to the weekend with mostly sunny skies for Friday and Saturday, the highs near 63, overnight lows near 43.
The models are somewhat mixed for Sunday, but it appears we could see the rain returning so for Sunday we say, partly sunny with some clouds returning along with a chance of rain, the highs still up near 60, the lows near 41.
