In case things are a little strange today, there was a full moon early this morning, the only one for March as the next one isn’t until April 1st, and that is no joke!
As far as the weather goes, and sorry I am a day late in pushing this out, we have another cold front approaching that gave us a slight chance of spotty rain today but did push in more rain this evening with some southerly winds 4-8mph, the overnight low tonight near 45.
The front pushes across early tomorrow morning and we transition to scattered showers with a slight chance of thunderstorms, winds becoming westerly 4-8 except gusty in any heavy showers or thunderstorms, the high temperature near 53. With the trough now to the east and a ridge to the west in the eastern Pacific, we remain under a moist northwesterly flow by tomorrow night that allows disturbances to drop down across the area, bring us more periods of rain, the winds becoming northwesterly 4-8mph, the overnight low near 40.
Thursday and Friday sees little change in the overall weather picture so we can expect more rain with highs near 51, and lows near 43.
It looks like the weekend will also be wet with the ridge building northward just off the coast as that trough deepens to the east, giving us a northerly flow. Unfortunately, we continue to see those disturbances bringing us periods of rain Saturday and Sunday with highs in the mid 50s, the lows in the mid to low 40s through Sunday.
The first look into next week says there is still a chance of rain Monday with highs in the low 50s, lows in the low 40s.
