Good morning world! I get to yell from the rooftops today (January 8, 2026) …
Last year, I felt God calling me to something greater than myself, because that’s how God works. It was time for me to lift my head out of the ashes after a three year spiritual and emotional rehabilitation.
I am so excited to announce I will be running for Governor of the State of Oregon. Yes, I said Governor!
Not only do we need a different type of leadership, we need folks who are publicly willing to live for God with true conviction. I’ve spent the last several months working on letting go of old habits so I can walk freely into this next season.
I am not running as a democrat or a republican. I am running non-affiliated. What’s that mean? I won’t be on the primary ballot. By collecting 23,000 valid signatures you will put my name, LaNicia Duke on your ballot in November.
I’m not running claiming to be the savior who can fix everything that is broken. I am running to help us, the state of Oregon, withstand the tough times and hard decisions ahead of us. We can’t keep doing more with less. We as a state need to have some really hard conversations, but I know we can and will come out stronger and better for it!
I’m looking for my first 100 volunteers willing to collect 100 signatures to sign up on my website.
This is a 100% grassroots effort. There will be no large donations from special interests. I will not accept a donation over $100.
If you choose to donate to my campaign and are a resident of Oregon, you’ll get that donation back when you file your taxes next year.
