The local Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) will be at Werner’s Beef & Brew this Friday and Saturday, May 27th and 28th from 10 am to 2 pm for the Memorial Day Weekend. It’s a small event to come and have lunch among some of our county’s veterans in support of those whom are no longer among us. The VFW will be handing out poppies per tradition and accepting donations to help our county’s veterans in need or their surviving spouses.
