MOOVOTER: Results of Tillamook March Special Election – Torres & Hopkins Secure Seats on Tillamook City Council

The City of Tillamook was required to hold a special election in March, due to ballot errors, to determine the City Councilors for Wards 2 & 5. The same candidates prevailed – Nick Torres for Ward 5 and Rebekah Hopkins for Ward 2.

For Tillamook City Council Ward 5 the results of the November 8th, 2022 election were overturned via court order after a voter found that they had received an incorrect ballot.
A Special Election was held on March 14th 2023.
March 14, 2023 Results with 15.76% Voter turnout:
Nick Torres – 53
Dean Crist – 41
For comparison – November 2022 Results with 69.55% Voter turnout:
Nick Torres – 128
Dean Crist – 126

For Tillamook City Council Ward 2 the results of the November 8th, 2022 election were overturned via court order after a voter found that they had received an incorrect ballot.
