Neah-Kah-Nie Art Music & Cultural Foundation (NCAM), will be holding a Hawaiian themed Auction Dinner, November 9, 2025 at The Garibaldi Portside Bistro, 5pm to 9pm, to continue the fundraising quest for the Neah-Kah-Nie High School Music Program.
Music Director, Michael Simpson is excited to share the latest addition to the Neah-Kah-Nie Music Department, the Whisper Room. NCAM assisted by raising money and writing grants. Michael has been persistent in seeking resources to build a Music Technology Program at Neah-Kah-Nie. With a donation of $60,000 in music equipment, the Whisper Room and a very minimal lease for sound and recording equipment, that persistence is paying off to benefit the students seeking a career in the music industry.

So…what is a whisper room? “A “Whisper Room” is a modular, sound-isolating booth that prevents outside noise from getting in and internal sound from getting out. This provides a controlled environment for recording audio, and much more.
There is still more to acquire to build this program. Dig out your Hawaiian shirt and buy your tickets to the NCAM Foundation Auction Dinner!
Michael Simpson and the NCAM Board of Directors would like to thank the Whisper Room Team for giving us a substantial discount and helping us get into the size and customization that we needed.
