Neah-Kah-Nie High School Week Full of Activities: Basketball Team Playoffs, Robotics Team & Wrestler to State, Speech & Debate Gala, Future Natural Resources Forestry Event & MORE!!

It is a busy week of activities for the Neah-Kah-Nie Pirates!

Girls Basketball will host Santiam Christian in Round 1 of the OSAA playoffs on Wednesday the 25th at 7:00 pm. If the girls win on Wednesday, they will travel to Banks on Saturday for Round 2 and a chance to advance to the OSAA 3A State Tournament.

Alex Lessor is heading to the OSAA State Wrestling Tournament starting on Thursday at Memorial Coliseum in Portland.

Speech and Debate is hosting their Annual Speech Gala on Thursday Feb. 26th as well as traveling to compete in Portland this weekend. Come see the winning pieces performed by our Speech and Debate students, as well as bid on silent auction items. This will be hosted in the Galley from 5:30-7:30pm.

Boys Basketball is traveling to Pleasant Hill on Friday for their Round 2 match-up at 6:00 pm. The winner of the at game will qualify for the OSAA 3A State Tournament.

Also on Friday Future Natural Resources Leaders host their home FNRL meet with over 100 students competing in over 20 different forestry related events.

To cap off the week, Robotics has qualified for the State Tournament this weekend and will be heading to Liberty High School in Hillsboro.
