Nehalem Bay Community Services CHILD Program Helps with Local Families Wish Lists

Nehalem Bay Community Services’ CHILD* Program was founded in the Fall of 2017 to help children of families living in Tillamook County at Back to School and Christmas time.

If you are looking to help a local families, fill a CHILD’s wish for Christmas, tags are placed  around the community that outlines what a child needs. A pair of pants, a top, shoes and a winter coat with a few toys.
Where you will find tags: 1st Security Bank in Manzanita, the Little Apple Grocery, Bayway Tavern, Nehalem Bay Health Clinic, Nehalem Bay United Mehodist Church.
Gifts are due back Dec. 17 at the Nehalem Methodist Church.
Please drop off during operating hours of: Monday, Friday and Saturday from 10 to 2 or Wednesday from 1 to 5.

This program is to assist families who are having difficulty providing necessities, let alone the extras that come with the holidays.

Parents register with CHILD and keep the information up to date to participate in the program; applications returned by July 10th for Back to School and Nov. 1st for participation in the Christmas portion of the program.

Everything the children registered with CHILD receive is donated by individuals and organizations from our local community.  Donations are tax deductible.
