Last night our district held its annual firefighter banquet dinner. With great food, plenty of laughs, and time to reflect on everything we faced in 2025, we came together to recognize the accomplishments of the district and honor the dedication and commitment of our members.
Chief Frank Knight presented nine awards throughout the evening.
Length of Service awards were given to Cpt. Dan Weitzel for 30 years of service, FF Frank Knight Jr. for 25 years, and FF Cedar Braasch for 5 years.
Congratulations to Cosmo Simmons, Rookie of the Year; Julee Ward, Top EMS Provider; Cedar Braasch, Firefighter of the Year; and LT. Jason Wiess, this year’s Officer of the Year!
