Cascade Management has announced that Bayside Commons, located at 35348 Bayside Gardens Road, Nehalem is currently accepting applications. Bayside Commons is a newly constructed affordable housing community that features 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments with rents from $844 to $1,700. The apartments available at Bayside Commons will require your household to meet the minimum income requirements (30% and 60% of AMI – Area Median Income) and not go over the maximum income allowable to reside in the apartment.
Through many efforts, new housing of all types is coming available in Tillamook County. One project, Bayside Commons, received support in 2023 from the Housing Commission’s Housing Production Solutions Fund. Located in the Nehalem area, Bayside Commons will have 20 apartments at rental rates for people who earn up to 60% of Area Median Income (AMI*) and another 4 units for those at or below 30% AMI. This includes six 1BD units, eleven 2BD units and seven 3BD units. These units are expected to be ready by mid-July.
