The 2026 short legislative session wrapped up with some important wins for our coastal communities.
In this From the District session ending update, I share progress on key priorities, including time change legislation and the passage of HB 4148, which helps ensure transient lodging tax dollars are fairly shared with the communities hosting Oregon’s visitors.
I also talk about SB 1561, which streamlines the rebuilding process for families whose homes are destroyed by natural disasters, and funding secured for projects in Warrenton and Astoria.
Take a moment to watch for a quick update on what these efforts mean for District 16.
