The North County Recreation District (NCRD) is thrilled to announce the Grand Opening of its brand-new Aquatics Center, a major milestone in the organization’smission to provide high-quality recreation and wellness opportunities for the North Coast community.
The Grand Opening Celebration will take place on Saturday, November 15, beginning at 2:00 p.m. The event will feature a ribbon-cutting ceremony, guided tours of the new facility, games and prizes for kids, and refreshments for all guests. Community members will also have the opportunity to take their first swim in the new pool and meet the NCRD staff who made it all possible.
“We couldn’t be more excited to open our doors and celebrate with the community that helped make this project a reality,” said Justin Smith, NCRD Executive Director. “This new Aquatics Center represents years and years of hard work, collaboration, and dedication from our staff, donors, and residents. It’s more than just a pool—it’s an investment in community health and connection.”
The celebration will be held at the North County Recreation District, 36155 9th Street, Nehalem, OR. All are welcome to attend this free, family-friendly event.
