OBITUARY: Carol J. Blum – February 27, 1940 – February 16, 2026

Posted on February 19, 2026 by Editor

Carol was a loving woman who cherished and embraced life and her family. She had a selfless nature and created lasting memories that will live in the hearts of her loved ones.
She stood strong through life’s challenges, using her love and faith as a source of strength and guidance.
Carol was an accomplished seamstress, knitter, crocheter and business owner.
She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles and her dogs.
In the 1970s she owned and operated Carol’s Fabrics in Superior, WI.
After moving to Oregon and eventually settling in Tillamook, her and Dick (Richard Blum, 2nd husband, RIP) started the Tillamook County Shopping Guide.
After retiring they spent their remaining years fishing, traveling, hunting, gardening and living their home on the river.
A Celebration of Life will be planned at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in honor of Carol can be made to:
