OBITUARY: Karen Lee Williams – Oct. 11, 1941 – Nov. 4, 2023

Karen Lee (Lyster) Williams, age 82, passed peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at the Samaritan Evergreen Hospice House in Albany.

She is survived by her two sisters, Sherry Newman and Loralee Henry; two daughters, Kimber Lundy and Theresa (Ed) Via; four grandchildren, Zachery (Alexa) Langlois, Taryn (Piers) Kowalski, Andrew and Jack (Shelby) Via; six great grandchildren, Olivia and Jackson Langlois, Aiden and Ava Via, and Gage and Callahan Kowalski; and her caregiver Larry Lundy.

She was preceded in death by her husband Paul Williams and her parents, Edmund and Pauline Lyster.

Karen was a long-time resident of Tillamook County. She graduated from Neahkahnie High School and had many friends in the Tillamook, Nehalem and Manzanita area. She retired after a successful career at Wells Fargo Bank. She was a long-time member of the Tillamook Pioneer Museum, the Manzanita Golf Club, and the Calvary Bible Church in Manzanita.

She loved the outdoors, and enjoyed hiking, fishing, clamming, golfing and gardening. She was a powerful and loving spirit, and will be sorely missed by her family, neighbors, and many friends.
