Ronald “Ronnie” Lloyd Randall was born on June 19, 1948, and spent nearly all his life in his beloved hometown of Tillamook, Oregon, except for a brief time in Portland after high school. He dedicated 36 years of service to the Tillamook School District as a custodian, working in several schools and earning the admiration of generations of students who still fondly remember him.
Ronnie never held a driver’s license, and his familiar presence walking around town became part of Tillamook’s charm. In later years, he found joy in his morning walking group, a ritual that grounded him in community and friendship.
He was a fearless traveler, taking numerous vacations across the country, especially enjoying trips to Hawaii and visiting family in Minnesota.
In 2023, Ronnie was diagnosed with cancer. He fought bravely, and though the pain was often great, he never complained about his condition. He found peace in his unwavering faith in God and all His angels.
Ronnie closed his eyes for the last time on June 10, 2025, surrounded by his family of friends . He will dearly miss those left behind but was joyfully welcomed into heaven by those who were taken too soon. He believed he was leaving this world for a better place.
