Enjoy the smoother ride and improved accessibility
Our crews have been working in Garibaldi to bring a smoother ride and improve accessibility for all along U.S. 101. We’re excited to let the community know that we’ve completed work for this project!
We appreciated everyone’s patience while we:
- Repaved the road and applied new striping.
- Constructed new ADA curb ramps at the rail crossings on 3rd Street and 7th Street.
- Created bus stop pull-out locations.
- Built new sidewalks between 1st Street and 11th Street.
- Enhanced street signs to make it easier to know where you’re going through downtown.
- Improved water drainage.
These upgrades will help everyone move through downtown Garibaldi more safely and comfortably for years to come.
