To the Editor,
How proud we can all be of our president. Now we can add “War Criminal” to con man, felon, and rapist in his bio.
Trump has launched an illegal war of choice, circumventing congress, with no real defined purpose or proposed outcome. First it was eliminating the nuclear threat, even though he told us that it was already “completely and totally obliterated” in his last set of air strikes in June. Guess not?
Then he said we had to have regime change. But now he’s walking that back after killing the Ayatollah. Of course the regime has now replaced the Ayatollah with his son, an even more hard liner.
But hey! At least we took out that girl’s elementary school. Our Tomahawk missile made quick work of that threat to our national security.
Trump promised he’d stop wars, not start them. He promised he’d put America first.
Between trump, Rubio and Hegseth’s conflicting statements, we have no idea why this war was started or he hopes to achieve.
But it turns out Putin is the real winner in this debacle. Trump announced today he is lifting sanctions against Russia to “ease the oil crisis”. The crisis trump created. Now Putin will be swimming in cash to pay for his war against Ukraine.
The losers of course are us, the American people, who are left with skyrocketing gas prices, an already shaky economy on the rocks, our service men and women put in harm’s way, and overall a less secure world.
Yes indeed, we can all be proud of our president.
