TEN NEAH-KAH-NIE TRACK ATHLETES QUALIFY FOR STATE! GO PIRATES!

Congratulations to the 10 Neah-Kah-Nie Pirate Track athletes that qualified for the OSAA 3A State Track meet on Thursday 5/29/25 and Friday 5/30/25.
On Thursday and Friday last week, these athletes competed in the Coastal Range League District Championships to qualify for the State Track meet. Jacob McIlvenna was the Male Track Athlete of the meet, finishing as the District Champion the 100m and 200m runs, as well as being a part of the 2nd place 4X400m Relay team.
Zane Krumenaker was the Male Field Athlete of the meet, finishing 2nd in both the Discus and Shot Put.
Liam Gibson was the District Champion in the 800m and a member of the 4×400 Relay team.
Dylan Sigman finished 3rd in the 800m, but ran a qualifying time to qualify for the State Track meet, as well as being a member of the 4x400m Relay team.
Gus Kirby finished 2nd in the 1500m and the 3000m, and is a member of the 4x400m Relay team, as well as setting the school record in the 3000m run at the District Track meet!
Tia Mautner was the District Champion in the Discus.
Payton White finished 2nd in the 100m Hurdles and is a member of the 2nd place 4x100m Relay team.
Sara Vega finished 2nd in the 100m and is a member of the 4x100m Relay team that also includes Acacia Christensen and Cleo Fraginal.
As a team both the boys and girls track teams finished 2nd at the District Track Meet. Great Job!!
Good Luck to the Pirates as they head to Hayward Field at the University of Oregon, in Eugene this week, Thursday May 29th and 30th.
