Unveiling of Updated Oceanside Zoning Proposals on March 27

side Neighborhood Association Zoning and Plan Review Committee (ZAPR) has just completed a series of five public meetings for input on new zoning concepts proposed by Tillamook County earlier this year. County Community Development Director Sarah Absher will offer updated proposals reflecting this community input at a ZAPR Committee Workshop scheduled for this Friday, March 27 from 2-4 p.m. The committee workshop will be “remote only” (no live meeting) and will be open for public viewing. The Oceanside Community Resistance Team (OCRT), our local chapter of Indivisible: Tillamook Coast Action, will host a campaign gathering and fundraiser for County Commissioner Mary Faith Bell’s Re-Election Campaign at the Oceanside Chapel, 1590 Chinook Avenue, this Sunday, March 29, from 3:30-5:00 p.m. Commissioner Bell will attend, and OCRT will serve light refreshments will be served. Netarts-Oceanside Fire Chief
Jeff McBrayer has announced an Open House and Fundraiser celebrating the 15th Anniversary of NOFD’s Resident Firefighter/EMT Training Program. The event takes place at the Netarts Fire Department on Saturday, March 28, from 3-6 p.m. This Open House replaces the Firefighters’ Pancake and Breakfast that usually takes place in the spring. The Labor Day Weekend Pancake Breakfast will be held as usual.
