From Tillamook Air Museum:
Thank You for Making History With Us!

We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who joined us for the arrival of our AV-8B Harrier yesterday. Your presence, excitement, and ongoing support made it a truly memorable event—and one we won’t soon forget!
It put a genuine smile on our faces to see so many of you gathered with friends and family, watching this iconic aircraft touch down. What a delivery it was—and we’re thrilled you were here to witness it with us.
Now that the Harrier has made it into the hangar, the next chapter begins: the meticulous process of demilitarizing and preparing it for display. This is where the real work starts—but also where the transformation happens.
Thank you again for helping us preserve, protect, and share aviation history with future generations. We truly couldn’t do this without you. Together, we’re pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in a museum.
We’d also like to give a very special thanks to Louie Sanchez AV-8B Assistant Program Manager and the leader of the AV-8B Museum Task Force. Louie—your support in helping us acquire this Harrier has been truly instrumental. We are deeply grateful to you and your entire team for your hard work, dedication, and service to this country. Your efforts have helped make this historic addition possible, and we’re honored to help carry forward the legacy of the AV-8B in its new home.
Stay tuned—more to come.
The community turned out for the Harrier’s arrival – lining Long Prairie Road and the Port’s access roads as well.
