Please join Tillamook Bay Watershed Council for their Bay to Basin speaker series. This FREE event will feature Habitat Restoration Biologist Cyndi Curtis and Sr. Program Manager for Wild Fish Kirk Blaine from Wild Salmon Center

Join us on April 8th for refreshments and a presentation by Cyndi Curtis and Kirk Blaine about watershed restoration & fish populations.
In partnership with the Tillamook Bay Watershed Council, the Tillamook County Pioneer Museum will be open starting at 5pm for participants to have light refreshments and mingle before the guest speakers begin their presentation at 6pm.
Cyndi Curtis is a Habitat Restoration Biologist on the North Oregon Coast. Her work focuses on developing strategic action plans for Coho Salmon recovery and helping partners implement high priority restoration projects. Cyndi will present on prioritized habitat in the Tillamook Bay Watershed and the impact of restoration on watershed health. Kirk Blaine is the Sr. Project Manager for Wild Fish in Oregon. Kirk focuses on wild fish management policy to support the conservation and recovery of wild salmonids on the Oregon Coast. Kirk will present on the current status of Northern Oregon Coast fish populations, with on emphasis on Chinook.
The Tillamook Bay Watershed boasts breathtaking natural beauty with healthy fish and wildlife, a thriving dairy industry, and communities with a proud pioneer tradition. The Tillamook Bay Watershed Council strives to help its stakeholders work together to restore clean water, healthy fish populations, and strong communities. They combine restoration and community involvement and our hope is that the Council becomes the Go To organization for community members who want to have a positive impact on watershed health.
