Sheriff Josh Brown has made cleaning up these illegal camping/dump sites a priority.
The Tillamook County Sheriff’s Office is pleased to report that the RVs, trailers, and extensive debris previously located at several longstanding trespass sites have now been fully removed. Following recent enforcement and site assessments, cleanup operations were successfully completed this week.
Abandoned vehicles, garbage piles, and hazardous materials were cleared from the affected properties, restoring the areas and preventing further environmental and property damage.
The Sheriff’s Office extends a sincere and heartfelt thank-you to the partner agencies whose efforts made this cleanup possible. Tillamook County Public Works, Tillamook County Solid Waste, and Burden’s Towing all played critical roles in the safe and thorough removal of the abandoned RVs, trailers, and accumulated debris.
Sheriff Josh Brown expressed his appreciation, noting that collaborative efforts like these are essential to maintaining the safety and livability of the community.
The Sheriff’s Office will continue to monitor known problem areas and work with property owners and local partners to prevent future unlawful dumping and trespass activity.
