The Tillamook County Sheriff’s Office has continued its coordinated efforts to address several longstanding trespass situations located on both public and private property throughout the county. Deputies recently responded to multiple unauthorized encampments where abandoned RVs, trailers, vehicle parts, and significant debris had accumulated over extended periods of time.
Upon arrival at each location, deputies found extensive garbage, hazardous materials, and environmental damage resulting from prolonged unlawful camping. These conditions created safety risks, impacted surrounding landowners, and contributed to ongoing litter and property degradation.
Sheriff Josh Brown has made the cleanup of such sites a priority as part of a broader initiative to protect property owners, improve community safety, and reduce environmental harm.

“We’re committed to protecting our community and keeping these sites from becoming long-term hazards,” said Sheriff Brown. “Our goal is to support property owners, reduce environmental damage, and ensure these areas don’t continue to accumulate debris.”
The Sheriff’s Office will continue conducting these operations as needed and remains dedicated to working with property owners and partner agencies to mitigate future impacts.
