TILLAMOOK COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE TEAM TAKES ON THREE CAPES RELAY, JOINING HUNDREDS OF RUNNERS SATURDAY FEB. 24TH

This weekend, the Tillamook County Sheriff’s Office had five Deputy Sheriffs participating in the 3 Capes Relay marathon! Detective Sgt. Michelle Raymond, Community Corrections Lt. Ahnie Seaholm, and Deputies Billy Cloud, Chase Ross and Chris Barnett all proudly and successfully represented our office as Team “Slow Pursuit”. The weather cooperated and it was a great turn out for the benefit race.
“Our overall time was four hours, 30 minutes, which was not bad for four inexperienced runners, and one very experienced runner,” said Detective Sgt. Michelle Raymond.
“Everybody was happy with their run times, and everybody felt really good about their performance and the camaraderie and fun that goes with being on a team. What I love about these events is that the Culture is so very positive even amongst strangers. It’s all encouragement and all positive energy.”
Please scroll through the photos, as we took as many photos of other participants as we could while covering our teams efforts!
Detective Sgt. Raymond had one last request: “Each of our team members carried our sock monkey mascot for each leg, and we’d like to hear your suggestions for a name.”
Go to the Tillamook County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page to share your name suggestion for the sock monkey mascot. Great job TCSO!
Thanks to Paul Fournier for sharing this great series of photos of the TCSO Slow Pursuit team but also photos of lots of the partcipants, support teams and spectators.

Forrest, the llama watched all the runners as welll.
