As Suicide Prevention Awareness and Action Month wraps up, we are still focused on reducing stigma around mental health, suicide, and to encourage seeking help. We also recognize the importance of spreading hope and joy, and our efforts for outreach will never come to an end even though the awareness month does. Outreach for suicide prevention will continue, and you can find out more about the Tillamook County Suicide Prevention Coalition by following us on Facebook – https://www.facebook.com/tillcosuicideprevention or email to tcspcinfo@gmail.com.
Join us on Friday, October 10th for World Mental Health Day. We will be holding a Rally Against Stigma from 4-6pm in Tillamook on the corners of First Street and Hwy 101. This rally is to support mental health and spread positivity.
We will have Don’t Give Up signs for folks to hold up. If you have one, bring it with you! If not, come get one. You will be able to take it home after the rally and put it in your window or yard.
Come help us spread positivity, hope and joy to make our community stronger and push back against stigma around mental health and help seeking behaviors.
