Barbara Trout Receives Northwest Public Power Association William McCrorie Distinguished Service Award
Tillamook PUD Director Barbara Trout was recently recognized with the William McCrorie Distinguished ervice Award by the Northwest Public Power Association. This honor is bestowed upon individuals who have made outstanding contributions to public power.
For 28 years, Barbara has demonstrated exemplary service and leadership as a member of the Tillamook PUD Board of Directors, including serving multiple terms as board president. She has been actively involved in the Oregon PUD Association, collaborating with PUDs statewide to help shape legislation, regulations and policies that further the mission of public power.
Barbara has been an engaged member of the American Public Power Association and NWPPA, participating in ongoing education, attending business meetings and contribution to community service projects.
Tillamook People’s Utility District Receives National Award for Community Service
Tillamook PUD recently received the Sue Kelly Community Service Award from the American Public Power Association. The award acknowledges activities that demonstrate the commitment of the utility and its employees to the community.
APPA recognized Tillamook PUD for its support of several efforts, including the College Work Program, Community Support Grant Program, Electric Lineworker Program Scholarship and Customer Assistance Program.
