We wanted to let our visitors and community know that we’ve just been informed by the Oregon Air National Guard that this year’s Veterans Day flyover has been officially cancelled due to the ongoing government shutdown.
We know the flyover is always a highlight and something many look forward to each year, and we share in your disappointment.
That said, our annual Veterans Day Ceremony will still take place on Tuesday, November 11, and we’re proud to continue this long-standing tradition, one of the largest in the state. We hope you’ll join us as we honor and celebrate the service and sacrifice of all who have worn our nation’s uniform.
The 11th starts with our fundraiser breakfast at the Air Museum from 8 to 10:45am. The ceremony and presentation starts at 11.
Afterwards Post Commander Kevin Lindsey will be giving a presentation at Megs in Pacific City at 2pm.
The annual Elks dinner and Celebration are set for 5pm.

Werner Beef & Brew will be hosting their annual free meal and donating 10% of restaurant sales to our Post.

The Bunker Grille will also be providing free meals to Veterans.
The Tillamook Eagles is sponsoring a Veterans Meal Nov. 19th.
