Over the years I’ve watched the North County Recreation District continue to become more and more a central hub of our community. NCRD reaches all groups from children in swimming, sports and afterschool care to seniors in the fitness classes/center, swim programs and a myriad of other activities. And all ages benefit from the wonderful Performing Arts Center. We need to vote YES to continue this great asset in the upcoming election on renewing the district’s option tax levy. The good news is, it’s at the same rate, so the current tax rate is not changed.
